Our manure drying tunnel uses the ventilation system installed in the system, which is necessary for air exchange and temperature control, allowing for considerable energy saving. The Sahara Tunnel reduces the humidity of the manure from 75-85% at the entrance to 15-25% at the exit. A weighing hopper, that is a key component of the entire system, automatically activates the tunnel powered by an elevator belt that picks up the manures from the breeding shed.
A manure distribution screw inside the feed hopper delivers it evenly over the entire belt. The manures go through the perforated propylene belts from the upper to the lower floors, until the drying process is completed.
